When I click the Start Here button on my Mac/Chrome, the popup is triggered but you wouldn’t notice because it also triggers a blank window that says “about:blank” and switches away from the site over to the blank window. I have tried clearing all cookies, history etc and restarting Chrome. It will work once, and then if you try it again the error happens again.

If you are not seeing the page I listed above, it’s because I may have to launch the site before I get an answer; in the case that https://corinnedobbas.com/newsite doesn’t work, please try https://corinnedobbas.com/.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Update: I did launch the site with the bug, so please use this URL to see it: https://corinnedobbas.com/.
When you click the Start Here button in the main banner in Mac/Chrome, it works one time, but after that it opens a new tab with about:blank.

    Hello @rachelgoldstein71:

I was able to duplicate your problem; on click, the ‘Start Here’ button at https://corinnedobbas.com/ attempts to open a new browser tab, rather than open the popup on the same page.

Your popup (ID: 7930; Name: Home Optin) trigger is set on the button element wrapping the button label. However, there’s no href attribute set on either the button element or child a tag (inside the button element). Consequently, without a page source to reference (href within either the button or a element) the popup is looking to open in a new browser tab.

You can fix this by adding an href="#" attribute to the button element. That will force the button element to open the link on the same page.

Thanks! I added that to the a href and that did the trick!

Great to hear! Glad to help.
