    I tried a few plugins of this type, but YARPP turned out to be the best, although you could work a little more on expanding the descriptions under the thumbnails or adding thumbnails to the title of entries without a thumbnail ??

    If you’re using the built-in Thumbnails template, you can specify “Default image (URL)” thumbnail to use if a post doesn’t have a featured thumbnail set.

    Is that what you were looking for?

    `Currently, I use 2 plugins on the blog – the first one under the text “Przeczytaj tak?e inne wpisy:” displays a title under the thumbnail, the height of which in pixels can be defined in the plug.

    The second plugin is YARPP under “Powi?zane Wpisy:” – where only a fragment of the title is displayed under the thumbnail without the possibility to define its length in words / characters or height in pixels. And it looks a bit worse than the first plugin.

    Another possibility of displaying a fragment of text instead of a thumbnail is in YARP, but it would be good if in this case you could also display a thumbnail, not just the text itself.

    In addition – in the 1st plugin I can define styles like this:
    Style Options
    Output style: Blocks
    Background color: Select kolor
    Background color on mouse over: Select kolor
    Border color: Select kolor
    Font color: Select kolor
    Font family: Source Serif Pro
    Font size: 15 px
    Text maximum length: 150 Set 0 for no title
    Excerpt maximum length: 0 Set 0 for no excerpt
    Text block height: 120 px

    If it could be defined similarly in YARPP that would be great ??
