Opinions on freebie blog, extensive mods

  • I am very new to all this making-a-website stuff, and my wife wanted a site (she is addicted to getting free stuff), so I am using her site, and wordpress to learn html and css. I know its not pretty (and probably somewhat gimmicky), but i’m trying. ?? Does anyone have any opinions or advice? https://www.thefullmailbox.com

    *edit* There are 22 installed plugins, that all <i>seem</i> to be working together well.

    You do have more than a few validation issues, but since it actually displays the same in firefox and ie6, i didnt even bother looking at the errors.

    I’m doubly impressed when I look at your profile and see that you managed to do that without posting hundreds of threads here.

    Its always refreshing to see someone that is willing to take a few chances and strike out on their own ??

    Everytime I try and make it xhtml valid, I screw something up and have to fix it. (good for learning, bad for the site) So…I kinda figured it was okay, since it looks the same in IE6 and 7, and also Firefox 1.5 and 2. Thats probably where I need to study the most; in making it valid. ??
