I have a new client who believes he’d like to see a short menu embedded in the right side of the header block of Customizr Pro theme that I use. I looked for other themes that might already have a header widget or top widget but not really finding one easily–much prefer to stick to this theme!

I think it is do-able but I also think it is a lot of php work and the end result is probably not as desirable as he might think. My staging area is https://www.yourvirtualsherpa.com/RomaoSantos/. He asked to have the background header image stop short of the right side of the screen and plop the menu vertically there with three menu items (I probably need a plug-in to do some more fancy work on menus based on his sample competitors’ page, which funnily enough doesn’t appear to be mobile friendly).

I tried using the available snippet for creating a widget area after the header but couldn’t get it to appear on the website after populating the widget area with the main menu. But do I really want it AFTER the header or embedded WITHIN the header?

Is there an easy way to get what he wants? Or barring that, are there any strong opinions out there that I should discourage him? (Please say yes!!!) He will have essentially what he wants in the mobile view menu placement.

    Thanks,

    Carol
