Opinions re Wpress site?

1st: Stop the Autoplay videos. I was listening to music that was rudely interrupted by a video on your site ?? plus it’s halfway down the site. Never put autoplay videos on a site like that, it just ticks people off.

2nd: Dull down the background a little, it’s distracting and makes the content hard to focus on. I also suggest making the content wider. It’s very skinny even on my 15inch laptop screen, I can’t imagine how it looks on my 22″ screen.

Other than that, I love the simple and clean layout. Just make it wider. Keep up the good work!

When I first open your blog I am startled by the thin column, but I get over it quickly. I do, however agree with kperrone in that it needs to be wider. I like the way it scrolls while the BK stays put. The darkness of the BK doesn’t bother me. Make the column a little wider and this will be really nice.

Indeed wider is better in this case. You will also have more space for stuff.

Btw, I see that you use a brick-wall image for your background. Perhaps it is good if you let the brick wall scroll along with your page. It will create a sense that your blog is like an announcement paper glued to a brick wall. Some free space above your header and below your footer is also good.

But that’s just me ??
