I’ve deleted everything including my config file in dumb moment while upgrading, is there a fix for stupid users? ??

  • Hopefully, your database is still there, so all you need to do is upload the source code to the same location where your old install was and enter the proper db connection information in wp-config.php. That should get everything back except for any file uploads (images), custom themes, and plugins. And, you may still have them if you look in your current wp-content directory.

Thanks Figaro… Once I re-installed my custom theme everything went kinda smoothly. ??

Yep…common problem…if you are using a custom theme, upgrade and haven’t moved that theme to your upgrade source, then often you’ll see a blank screen…WP should revert to using the default theme, but just doesn’t happen some times for various reasons.
