    Please ignore.

I have ascertained that the problem was definitely not connected with the plugin and I have found a workaround.

    Thank you.

    Hi Wolf,

It is indeed MailChimp that sends out the Opt-In mail (as long as you turn this setting on in our plugin). Glad you have found a workaround.

    Hi Wolfkettler,

Could you please advise what the issue and your workaround were.

I have just installed this plugin and despite selecting the double opt-in option I received neither confirmation email, nor does it update my Mailchimp list of subscribers.

It brings me straight to the ‘Thank you’ page which I don’t believe it should do until after subscription is confirmed.

    Thanks

    Shane,

has Mailchimp restricted your mailing list in any way? Are you still able to manually add subscribers?

    No it hasn’t.

    I can still add manually.

In this case my ‘workaround’ probably won’t help you. I do not want to post it publicly but if you are interested, contact me through my website https://www.wolfkettler.co.uk/contact/ and I will reply by e-mail.

    Thank you so much WolfKettler.

    All sorted.
Issue was my own fault, had not configured correctly.

Thanks again for all the help.
