Opt-In Options

Hello,
I have set the opt-in option to SINGLE, but it looks like it is still on DOUBLE in the background, because people still getting the DOUBLE opt-in email and mail chimp send me this message they get via API:

}That means the DOUBLE opt-in is still active, right? How can we fix that?
