Yes, that is pretty critical

This is more than pretty critical, this is absolutely essential. In fact the plugin is pretty useless if the person cannot opt out.

I run a website for sailors. Some of them go to sea and need to turn off various email subscriptions as they download their email via satphone, which is massively expensive. Not being able to opt out of this means I have to look elsewhere for a plugin that emails my website members.

Otherwise it’s a great plugin. Add in the opt-out feature and I’ll give this 5/5 stars.

I think it also violates the law in the USA
