Optimiser suddenly stopping Product tabs

    The Product tabs on my page are suddenly not working. They were last week (i know this as I directed a customer to the tabs)
    They are there, but frozen, only the first one will open.
    I have had a custom tab plug in for over a year with no problems.
    I disabled that, but the standard tabs still do not work, so i re-activated it.
    I also have had a snippet to direct customer to tabs under the product description – again this has been there for a long time.
    I disabled that snippet, and it did not fix it, so I re-added it.
    I then disabled both the plug in and the snippet and that did not fix the problem.
    We have not added any new plug ins recently.

    I put this problem up on a woocommerce site https://www.facebook.com/groups/advanced.woocommerce and got the advice to turn off “Enable Minify” in WP-Optimize

    I did this, and the tabs worked.

    BUT my speed has gone from 90% to 60% on GTMATRIX (see screen shots on the FB page or I can send them)

    I have turned this Enable Minifier back on, so you can see the problem with the tabs.

    What do you suggest? I am on woodmart theme.

    It is definately this plugin that is the problem – as switching this off allows the tabs to work. Is there a way around this? The guy on the woocommerce forum suggested that “JavaScript to exclude in the minify settings”.

    Or do I need to speak to the theme?

  • @amyskea Please disable “Enable merging of JavaScript files” from WP-Optimize > Minify > Javascript and check if it helps to fix the issue?

    I disabled the above, the tabs now work, but the speed is still at 50%

    This was at 90% last week and tabs worked.

    Hi, as mentioned last week my web was at 90% and the product tabs opened as expected.

    Now the product tabs will not open

    the only way to get product tabs to open is to have “ disable – Enable Minify” this puts the speed at 60%

    Nothing in the article is helpful – I had all the setting at the correct point and have had this running for over a year.

    It is a direct conflict with optimiser and the tabs opening.

    Is there an email I can send you the screen shots of the speeds?

    The only thing that I change between them is disabling minifier. This allows the tabs to open, but then the speed goes way down

    I have changed optimiser plug-in and tabs work again and speed is back to 90%

    which is a shame as I have been happy with this for a year.

    Hi there
    I prefer your optimiser over the other one as it does pictures as well.

    I switched back and the problem is there – it is not there with the other optimiser.

    When either optimiser is on, my speed is high, but how do I get your optimiser to work with product tabs – they were all working as they were meant to be and then suddenly don’t.
