Optimization of pictures added on plugin

    Hello,

    We have an extra plugin for our Photo albums. We upload pictures to this plugin with zip-files.
    Does your plugin also compress these files?

    Hi Joep,

    What plugin are you using to upload your images? As long as the images are uploaded to the default WordPress media folder then there shouldn’t be any issues.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your quick answer.

    We use the WP Photo Album Plus plugin. The files get uploaded in a subfolder inside the Uploads folder.

    Hi Joep,

    We made a fresh WordPress install to test your plugin and it seems that this won’t work with the TinyPNG plugin. As you mentioned the uploaded images do not get stored in the default WordPress media folder but in wp-content/uploads/wppa-source/ instead.
