@nckyola Thanks for getting in touch and providing additional details. When you view the Analytics web console do you see any traffic for that property when looking at the live report (Real Time – Overview)?

No I don’t. And when I send test traffic from my admin panel it doesn’t show anything either.

@nckyola I understand, lets try resolve the Analytics issue first, which will hopefully help in getting your Optimize connected. If you have the logged in users option enabled traffic from your site while logged in will not be counted.

If you encounter no live traffic while checking your site while not logged in, or with the logged in users option disabled please share your Site Health information and we can investigate further. You can share privately if preferred.

@nckyola Many thanks for sharing, nothing stands out from looking at your Site Health information. Going back to your Analytics account and the same UA-4830?????? property does it display any traffic, live or historic?

Yes it does. I see my historic traffic in the Analytics console as well as on my Site Kit dashboard.

@nckyola Thanks for providing an update. Can you follow the steps below and inform me of any notices when trying to connect Optimize?
1. Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
2. Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”. (This will temporarily deactivate other plugins and switch to a default theme – for you only, as a logged in user).
3. From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google”
4. Open Optimize and perform an installation check setup once more

You can exit troubleshooting mode afterwards.

@nckyola Thanks for your patience while investigating this issue. I’ve setup an environment similar to your own, a multisite with all the same plugins. I’ve been unable to recreate the same notice when testing.

Do you have any other browser extensions or local software that which includes ad blockers or features to restrict tracking?

It might be worth checking the live report within Analytics also. You’ve mentioned you can view historic traffic since enabling reporting for all users. Please check for live traffic reporting once more.
