Optimize Images works only on staging website

    Hello there!
    Thank you for your plugin and your support.
    I tried to improve website speed score on GTMetrix, and started to work with staging site to test everything. On the staging website, when I clicked the option Optimize Images” there appeared some green status message https://prntscr.com/qv5vm0, and it helps.
    But when I tried to do the same for my live website, this green message does not appear https://prntscr.com/qv5x7u. I am using the same settings for both websites.
    After I check this “Optimize Images” on my website, my score from scaled images become better(from 39 to 70). But on the other hand, Specify a cache validator warning appear(it was 85 before I click this option, and 42 after).
    Any ideas?

    well, assuming your production is iwanttobuybitcoin.com then no, it seems image optimization is not on or is not working. might you have a pagecache that needs purging?

    Just enabled it.
    Looks like images scaling right now, but I get a new error on GT Metrix with Specify a cache validator.
    Also, again, there is no such “Shortpixel status” as on the staging website.

    all looks OK. The cache validator message indeed is there for the shortpixel resources, but -in reality- is not important tbh. The shortpixel status will come, it’s fetched only a couple of times/ dey ??

    ok, but why I didn’t get this error on the staging website when optimization is also on?
    Also, One more question. Can I somehow clear images cache on your cnds?
    I uploaded new images but it loads only old ones from shortpixel

    no idea I’m afraid. when looking at one image from the live site, I do see an etag in the headers, so I’m thinking GTmetrix is .. wrong?

    Can I somehow clear images cache on your cnds?

    Easiest is changing image name really, if not possible then contacting Shortpixel support.
