    Hi,

    Every time when i optimizing data from SEO > Tools page im getting error in the middle of the optimization process.

    Possible it can’t handle my large database so i decided to reindex using wp-cli. After successfully reindex i’m still seeing this warning message: “We need to optimize your site’s SEO data so we can offer you the best”

    I can ignore this warning message?

    We are sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with our plugin. It’s not ideal to see the relevant notice to run the SEO data optimization again even after completing it. So, we’d like you to please reset the Indexables tables and migrations by following the steps given below:

    • Install and activate Yoast Test Helper plugin;
    • Go to Tools → Yoast Test → Yoast SEO → Reset indexables tables & migrations options to reset it;
    • Run SEO data optimization using WP-CLI again to see whether this resolves the issue for you.

    Let us know whether the issue persists after performing the above steps.

    Thank for the replay!

    Unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue.

    We are sorry to hear the provided solution didn’t work for you. We can imagine how that could be frustrating for you. In this case, can you please confirm whether you see any data in the following tables on the relevant website’s database after completing the SEO data optimization through WP-CLI?

    • wp_yoast_indexable
    • wp_yoast_indexable_hierarchy
    • wp_yoast_migrations

    We look forward to hearing from you.

    Would you please rerun the optimization second time via WP CLI just to confirm if the entire optimization was completed successfully?

    In addition, we expect few more information about your setup. This might help us replicate the issue on our end:

    1. Can you confirm you are using the most recent Yoast SEO?

    2. Can you confirm you are using WordPress 5.6.1?

    3. Are you seeing any JavaScript errors in your browser console?

    4. Can you confirm that your server meets the minimum plugin requirements? You can often find these details by going to Tools > Site Health > Info in WordPress.

    Hi @dydyt,

    The SEO data optimization process improves the plugin’s speed and lets Yoast SEO scan your site for internal links, so it would only affect features like the internal link counter and orphaned pages list. It doesn’t prevent the other features from working properly.

    That said, for sites with thousands of posts, we recommend using the WP CLI command line tool for WordPress to do the indexation on the server instead of going to SEO > Tools. You can read more about this here: WP CLI – Reindex Indexables command

    Does the error still appear?`
