Hi Diego, thanks for your question.

Yes, the plugin also optimizes thumbnails, which are important for the mobile versions of your website. You can choose whether to optimize image thumbnails (or not) in the WP Settings>ShortPixel in the ‘Apply compression also to image thumbnails’ checkbox. The default option here is to include image thumbs.

    Keep compressing!

    Thanks for the answer.

    Already optimized all images.
The plugin informed that there was 2500, but because of thumbnails I had almost 8000 images processed.

It was good to know the exact number because at first I signed the 5k plan and then I’d had to sign the 12k plan. ??

    Hi Diego,

Thanks for pointing out this potential problem. For each image in your Media Library, WordPress automatically creates around 4 smaller images that are not included in the image count.

Up until now, you used 10k API calls and have around 8k remaining. We made a refund on your Small plan, and also left you the remaining credits.

We are trying to make this issue clearer in the next plugin update, please accept our apologies for the misunderstanding.
