Optimized image not displaying

    I’ve run the optimization on these 2 images as a test. They were optimized from 6000px wide and ~10mb down to 2880px and ~1mb. However, the old image is still displaying. What’s the problem here? Does it have to do with the large size of the images? The smaller ones appear to have worked. I added a screenshot of the optimization on the bottom of that page.

    I just checked back today and the images are displaying correctly. I’m thinking it was a caching issue but I tried to hard refresh, try a new browser, and wipe browser data. Waiting a week seems to have worked though. Not sure what the issue was.

    Not sure what else could be a reason except caching – but if it happens again, make sure to check the image size in wp-content/uploads folder (by connecting to FTP). That way you will be sure if there is (not) optimized image on your server. If it’s not there, feel free to contact us again so we could see if it is because of the size or some other reason.
