When running lighthouse against my block I find three instances of Google tag managers with at least 89K of unused code. Since Analytics is run through SiteKit I’m wondering if you have any suggestions for optimizing the size of google tag manager

I’m looking to either be able to trim the unused bytes on each script, use fewer instances from tag manager to manage the site or manually set the snippet in code (a previous answer pointed to a process to manually set it up, but the information wasn’t there).

To reproduce the issue I’m seeing, run Lighthouse against the site.

Hi @caraya thanks for getting in touch. We are limited to support for the Site Kit plugin here but if you are looking for more help with your Google Tag Manager setup then I would suggest checking out the Tag Manager Help Center.

You may also find the setup guide helpful with regards to setting up the script manually. Hope this helps and if you do have any specific Site Kit questions then please do let me know.
