• I added a GetResponse optin form to my sidebar, and the confirmation URL points to a “thank-you” page I created. The thank-you URL is in the format https://mydomain.com/?page_id=4
but when I test my optin form, it just goes to a WP page which says “sorry, no posts matched your criteria”. What am I missing here?

  • Greetings,
    I’m experiencing the same problem.
As a newbie to WordPress, I’m building my first blog. And in doing so, I’m looking to redirect somebody to a “thank you” page on my blog (just like the original post here).
I’ve identified the idea of creating a “page” rather than a “post”. What I find to be the/a problem is/are:

    1) Not wanting to have to “publish” the page and have it
    listed in “Pages”.
    2) If you don’t “publish” a page, it will not be viewable,
even if you know the URL. I’m I wrong?

I believe that if you don’t publish a page, nobody can view it, except somebody logged into wp-admin.

I’m sorry and surprised to find a post such as this go unresolved for six months. This type of functionality should be trained at this site. Maybe it is, and I’ll go look.

    Larry
