    Hello. I have created an optin form sidebar widget. I added my mailchimp API key, connected it to my subscribers list, and connected it to a thank you page.

    The optin form displays fine, and you can add an email and name into the form. Once you click the button to subscribe, it does not connect to the thank you page. It also does not add the email address to the mail chimp subscribers list.

    Any insight on how to fix this?

    Thank you!

  • Dear Support,

    I have the same issue, would be glad if you could resolve this issue. I even created an new API key and connected it with that but that did not fix the issue.

    Would be nice if you could fix this issue.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

    @lauren
    I just checked out the link you gave, but I don’t see an Opt-in on the page.

    The most common cause of this issue is a another plugin or theme running on the website that has a script error. WordPress 4.5 had a recent update that tended to break a lot of plugins and how they deal with links specifically, which could break our opt in form’s ability to sign up new accounts.

    If either of you do have a current problem on your websites, feel free to post a link and I can take a look.

    I am not using the plugin on my website anymore since it does not work any longer. But here is the website I used it on before: https://www.kinderpraktijktheone.nl

    Using the standard one from Mailchimp now but my client likes to see the old one back. Also I haven’t updated my WordPress only the plugin itself.
    And since I’m not the only one experiencing problems the issue should lie in the plugin itself I believe since before the update it didn’t had any conflict with my other plugins it was working fine.

    Hi, i have the plugin installed and working fine on site that i am working on for a client. However, when i try to add the form i created in a page through the editor it does not show. It only gives me the option to select a form, but does not show any form i have created. I tried looking for a shortcode,and noticed that the plugin does not have a shortcode to insert on a page. How do i fix this?

    Thanks!

    @edgar78,

    It’s possible there is a bug or problem with converting the forms to the newest update, we made some major backend changes in the last one (1.6). If you’re still having issues, could you contact us at [email protected]? We can get some more details and look at the site specifically to see if we can find the cause.

    Having the same issue. Love the look of the plug-in, but does nothing once you click subscribe. Please help!
