Optin Forms and search

    Hi.
    I start using Optin Forms and notice a problem. When plugin is on search engine on website is not workin. Its not active i dont know why?

    Hi,

    I’m not 100% sure I understood the issue. What exactly are you referring to with “plugin is on search engine on website”? And what exactly happens?

    It is very simple. When Optin Forms plugin is on then you cannot search on my website. When i switch of you can search in my website.

    Hi,

    That’s a very weird behavior, the plugin doesn’t alter anything related to search.

    Can you just run a quick check to see if it’s a conflict with the theme. Basically just switch to a default WordPress theme ( TwentySeventeen ), with the plugin active, try the search, if it works then it’s related to the theme and we can take further steps to figuring out why exactly it happens.

    On TwentySeventeen its working fine on my theme not. I am using Betheme. Probably i will have to contact to them

    Hi,

    It’s not a freely available theme so I can’t test it on my installation. But since it works on the default WP theme and not on BeTheme then it’s definitely related to the theme, they’ll know what kind of modifications they are doing to the native WordPress search functionality and figure out why it happens.

    Just make sure to mention it works fine on a default WP theme.

    And of course, if their support has any questions for me just let me know and I’d be happy to answer them.
