We have noticed that OptinMonster campaigns that are embedded don’t display on pages that are viewed in the Firefox private browsers or in DuckDuckGo. This is likely due to the fact that these browsers are considering the call to a third party site as a security risk or are considering the OptinMonster embed code to be similar to to a popup.

Is this a known issue with OM? We have noticed that other tools like Formidable that reside on the same site/domain don’t suffer from this issue. You can visit the hyperlink included with this ticket to see the issue. It views just fine in Chrome/Chrome Incognito/Safari/Firefox (non-private). When viewed in Firefox Private or DDG, nothing displays.

    Please advise.

    Hey @seanrnicholson,

    Thanks for contacting us ??

DuckDuckGo and Safari private browsers prioritize user privacy, which may interfere with certain tracking scripts or pop-up forms like OptinMonster.

The best solution for this is to use our Custom Domains add-on feature, which allows you to serve OptinMonster resources from your own domain.

Once subscribed to Custom Domains you can configure it for any or all sites in your account and the campaign can start working on privacy browsers.

Let me know if you need further assistance ??

    Regards
