Hi, I just upgraded the Plugin and an interesting thing happened. I wasn’t able to add another field with the option with the following format. “emp01-YYYY-MM-DD” The hyphen’s were not accepted. Why would I want hyphens? Well, the site was created a while back, I was new to WP and to solve a problem this was the solution, which is embedded in the site all over. Maybe there was an easier way, but this was it. I really would like the hyphen’s back. I would need them before May 10. I only add new fields maybe twice a year and rarely go into the code anymore to remember it all. If that is not an option; how would I revert back to an older version of WP-Members? Thank you!

I just found the older versions. I’ll try to revert to previous one.

Ok, I was able to revert to a previous version. Learned a lot on then journey. Would still ask if would be possible to allow hyphens in the option fields if possible. And would be cool to know the reasoning why they are not allowed, just for educational purposes.

It hasn’t really come up before, but it is quite possible that hyphens would get kicked out as bad. I would suggest using underscores (_) instead of hyphens (-).

Thanks for responding Chad. There actually was an error message that showed up. An I agree to used underscores would be good, but it is old code that I dread getting back into that involves more than the plugin. Anyways, no worries. Things are working now.
