Option for Reccuring

When I am using the shortcode, if I do not set an amount, there an an option to make the amount Recurring. As soon as an amount is set, the Recurring on the Paypal page disappears.

Is there any way to have that show when an amount is defined, or even have the option to have it checked automatically, like a subscription service as an argument?
