Hi, I want to build a feature where authors can make a profile and publish their own content. Then visitors can subscribe to each author (paid subscription) and view the premium content. Same like the onlyfans website, is this possible with this plugin?

  • Hi

Did you get an answer to the above question?

I am looking for similar functionality (albeit in a completely different industry). I am considering plugins like WP Private Content Plus, Profile Grid, Paid Memberships Pro, Give, Woocommerce Memberships etc. together with a few premium themes. I am not sure if I have found the best solution yet.

Did you find an answer or can anyone else help?

    Thanks.

I am also looking for such kind of solution. If you guys find some perfect solution than also let me know.

    Same, anything?

We are developing a script like only fans soon will contact you and update you.

Ultimately, I instructed a developer to create what I wanted from scratch. I am still waiting for their work. When it is completed, I will update this thread.

I have since discovered a script called aMember (amember.com) that might be useful to someone developing a new site because it appears to have all the necessary payment gateway functionality. The script may still require quite a bit of customization though. aMember appears to integrate into WP, so it may be helpful for those looking to keep all the functionality and flexibility that WP provides.

@mshafiqtahir let me know when you have a demo of your work.

    Hey all!

@mrrickez I’m pretty interested in it too and I’m already testing several solutions and possibilities in WP. Please let me know if you search partners here, I would be interested in collaborating.

Hi All please update me if you guys have found any solution Thanks

    Hi

I have contacted aMember about developing additional features to allow a recurrent subscription to specific members’ content. I may not have included all the features that other people need, but they seem to be willing to help (my needs do not relate to the adult industry). There is a price to pay for this additional coding work, of course.

I have a developer that is creating a bespoke site for me (php/js). We are in the final testing phase, but I may still pay for the additional coding from aMember as a backup because I would be interested to see how they do it (and it allows me to create a separate site utilizing the familiar WordPress platform). I suppose if I paid for the initial work, it may open up the adapted aMember script to others for less.

Once my site has gone through testing, I will share the URL so you can see it. I am also happy to share information about where I found the developer (if I am asked for it).

I wonder if @nimeshrmr can offer a solution that uses the WP Private Content Plus plugin?

    @mrbearps

My developer is someone I found on Freelancer. He has been very communicative. I guess I will know how much to recommend my developer after testing is complete.

I will post details of the site and developer then.

Did anything come of this? I’m looking for a similar function too. Thanks

I ended up buying a source code of a product called XFans https://adent.io/products/xfans/
Cost $2000, I’d be willing to sell for a fraction of the price to those that want an only fans clone.

I looked at several ‘off the shelf’ options like that, but quotes for customisation tended to exceed the development costs of a new site.

I used a team on Freelancer (@TrickyWebtech) to create a site using Laravel and Angular. I am still working on the site, but Guru Follower can be previewed. The site is totally different to the others mentioned, but some of the functions are similar.

Potentially, the developer I used may be able to help others. He did say that he is a WordPress specialist too. His skills, combined with the customisation that the person I contacted at aMember said he could do, may be a perfect solution for someone.
