    Hello.

I found another issue, which can be improved.

When trying to edit the “Customer New Account” type email, I realized that when activating the “Switch Account Link to Button

The text is translated into English,
no option to translate into my language as in the fields Body Text and Additional Content.

    Hello,

When you enable the SWITCH ACCOUNT LINK TO BUTTON option, the button text reads “View Account,” which I can translate using a plugin like LocoTranslate. Is the button text what you are referring to? How are you trying to translate the text?

    Thread Starter delaitec

    (@delaitec)

    Let’s go.

With the email type Customer New Account selected.

01 – I first activate the Show Account Section button:

At this moment, the text in pt-br is displayed followed by the link to access my account page.

I don’t use any translation plugin, the text already appears in pt-br.

    See:

02 – When selecting the second button SWITCH ACCOUNT LINK TO BUTTON:

Text with instructions is changed to en.
And the View Account button is displayed instead of the link.

    See Print.

It would be interesting if the instructions and button texts were translated into the language of the site when this feature is activated.

Or at least that it was possible to customize the text like it happens with the other email types in the Kadence plugin.

    Hi there!

Could you confirm if you already added the string translations for the Kadence WooCommerce Email Designer plugin? Each plugin will have its own text domain. It is possible that you have translated the strings for WooCommerce but not yet for our plugin.

The translations should work, provided that the plugin strings were the ones translated. For your reference, here’s a screen recording of how it worked on my website using the Loco Translate plugin – https://share.getcloudapp.com/JruproXe.

Please let us know if we can assist you further.

    Kind regards,
    Karla

    Hello,

    Thanks for the feedback.

Answering your question, No, I don’t have any translation plugin installed.

I never had the need because the plugins I use always translate the texts according to the language of the site, and when they don’t do this, they have a field where I can type the text I want to display in place of the original text, without the need to use a plugin for this purpose., For example, “Heateor Social login”.

Could you answer me one thing?

Maybe I’m getting it wrong, ae you trying to tell me that to fix the Kadence plugin translation problem I need to install another plugin?

Or is this video you sent me a way to send you the translations, so that in the next updates the plugin will be corrected?

    Thanks.

    Hello @delaitec ,

The video Karla provided shows you how to translate the Kadence plugin with the LocoTranslate plugin. You should install the plugin to translate the email customizer in this case.

    Thanks for you reply.

I understand that Loko Translator does plugin translation.

But do you agree with me that it’s a bit of a stretch to add a plugin to translate a single line into another plugin?

Wouldn’t it be more practical to add a field where the user can translate this line?

As in the fields: SUBJECT, ADDITIONAL CONTENT, BODY TEXT, etc. ?

It would be something simple, but that would bring a great advance to the plugin that is already excellent for everything it delivers.

Eu acredito que nenhum usuário ficará triste por ter esta facilidade no próprio plugin.

    Hi there!

Other plugins will have their strings translated when you change your website language simply because they have translations available for them already.

For example, see the WooCommerce plugin localization status for each language here – https://translate.www.ads-software.com/projects/wp-plugins/woocommerce/.

Here is the link for the Kadence WooCommerce Email Designer plugin – https://translate.www.ads-software.com/projects/wp-plugins/kadence-woocommerce-email-designer/.

The localization for WordPress plugins is community-led, and we appreciate the people that help us with this.

However, should you want to add the proper translations on your website for any WordPress product, the easiest and fastest way is by using plugins like Loco Translate.

On the other hand, I submitted your recommendation as a feature request to our plugin. Please note that we cannot give an estimated date for when that will be added.

I hope this explains better. Please let us know if we can assist you further.

    Kind regards,
    Karla

Thank you very much for sharing the link for translation.

I will be very happy to contribute with the translation of the project. ??

    Hello.
I went to the translation link and saw something very strange.

    In Portuguese (Brasil) translate

There it says that only 11% of the plugin is translated (54 translations).

    • And when I go to the screen (Waiting) there are 484 translations ready.

Why haven’t these translations been applied yet? they represent practically the entire plugin.
    • When I go to (Untranslated) there are only 3 untranslated items “That I will translate at this time”.
And these items are not related to the translation that I opened this topic“.
So now there is no untranslated text.
    • And in (Fuzzy) “That I honestly don’t know what it means” there are 3 more, and these 3 are translated correctly.

    My question is:
If anyone took the trouble to translate the entire plugin,
and if there are only 3 untranslated items, why hasn’t the plugin been translated to PT-BR yet?

    I’m really not understanding.

    Thanks.

    An important note.

The last translation into Portuguese was made on 05-06-2022 (almost a year ago), and until today it has not been applied.

When I check the other countries, practically none have the translation in (Wainting).

    What is happening?

    Hey,

So let me see if I can clear up how translations work with www.ads-software.com. We don’t control them, the Polyglots team controls this and approves them and if you want to see translations get approved you have to join the Polyglots team, once in you can request editor permission for the plugin (we can also request that once you’ve joined) and then you would be able to approve the translations. Because we don’t speak Portuguese we can’t be approved to manage those translations. Does that make sense?

    Ben

    Hey @britner

I would be very happy to be able to help approve plugin translations. You can request my inclusion in the Polyglots team.

    Have a nice day.

    Hello @britner

I just checked the plugin today and the translation issue persists.

I would really like to help expedite this.

Did you request that I be added to the Polyglots team?

So far I haven’t received any messages or instructions about it.

It’s sad to see that someone has translated the plugin and he doesn’t receive the translation,
preventing thousands of users from benefiting from the work done by translators.

I hope I can help soon. Have a good Week!
