Option to Import/Export Settings

    Hello,

    We are testing The SEO Framework plugin and wanted to know if there is an option to export or backup the settings to use on other sites or just to store them?

    Hi Rhett,

    I hope that you like TSF so far!

    TSF comes with ‘sane defaults’ that work for most sites. Anything that requires tweaking is often specific to a single site, such as its title, description, social sharing details, etc. These should all be unique, and only in rare circumstances should they be transported.

    With that, there has never been much demand for transporting the settings — still, I am thinking about it.

    Until then, are there any specifics you wish to have changed by default on new sites?

    You can learn what TSF stores where right here: https://kb.theseoframework.com/kb/data-stored-in-your-database/. Some names will change in the next update, but only for generative/transient storage.
