Option to keep old cart behaviour: Hover and click to Cart

Also would like the previous option to be able to hover to display the cart contents and also allow us to click the cart icon to go to the basket page, currently that basket button isn’t clickable in V3.9 :/

There’s an option to have a Dropdown when we hover over the Cart icon. Refer to this screenshot, please.

As for the Cart icon that brings no where when it gets clicked, we have fixed it, and we plan to include the fix on the next update. We are sorry for the inconvenience you may have because of this.

If you don’t want to wait until the next update to get the fix, please open a ticket through our Support Portal so we can provide you with the dev version.

Yup, I’m aware of this. Except most of our customers had the expectation of “clicking the cart icon should bring me to the Cart page”

That’s why my operations were bombarded by customer feedback about this.

Does this mean, it’ll take my customers to the Cart page? Or, clicking it just reveals the Cart dropdown?

Yes, with the dev version I was talking about, the Cart icon will be clickable. When your customers click it, they will be taken to the Cart page.

Yeay! Thank you @bsfherman and BSF team for understanding the UX needs for this.

Will keep a look out for the new update. Meanwhile, I’ll stick with v3.8.5 for the time being.
