So many plugins now days put their icon out on the top level menu. On large websites this clutters up the left bar so much. Can we have an option to put it back? Once you set it once, you hardly ever go back in the WP Mail settings, so i think it is un-necessary to have moved it out… More clutter, please lets have the option

    Hi @121940kz,

    Thanks for contacting us.

We use the new top-level menu as an easy access point for other subpages (which can have own tabs/subpages), so we can’t just hide it.
The new WP Mail SMTP Pro shares the same code and logic, and gives access to Email Log, for example (among other things). And that’s the page that you might want to check from time to time as it will list all sent emails.

That’s just poor product design. Why is it so hard to use an if/else statement to display the new top-menu entry only on the Pro version? The only purpose of the 2 new pages is to upsell the Pro version or your other plugins.

All your Free products (WP Mail SMTP, WPForms, MonsterInsights) have become giant billboards with total disregard for your users: entire menu entries and tabs for upsells, and useless dashboard widgets with ads. And let’s not forget the notifications…

I used to be a big fan of your products and I used to recommend both your free and premium plugins to my clients, but I’m starting to regret this more and more. You’re becoming the new Yoast, polluting our dashboards with junk.

Agree, there is no reason those new sub-menu items could not just be tabs, just like the “email test” tab.
