    Hi,

We are using the latest version of the Yoast SEO plugin. We couldn’t able to redirect the non trailing slash URLs to trailing slash URLs in our website. We have given the standard code for this in .htaccess file. Still not able to find what went wrong? Please guide me the option on Yoast to achieve this.

    Thanks

Yoast SEO is unable to redirect any non-trailing slash URLs to trailing slash URLs automatically. You’ll need to make sure that your permalink structure includes the trailing slash at the end of this and WordPress will automatically make a redirect for this.

    Hi,

Thanks for the answer. Even though we set the permalinks with trailing slashes at the end, still the redirects not working. What it could be?

It’s possible that theme or some plugin unhook redirect_canonical from template_redirect.
Second issue could be related to caching plugins and possible conflicts between caching rules, your custom rules and WP rules.
