    Hello,

Congrats on taking over the plugin and giving it life again.

I just wondered if there is ever likely to be options for how frequently the backups are made, ie weekly, bi-weekly, monthly etc

Also, do you think you will ever look at options such as backup to Amazon S3 or Dropbox? None of the existing plugins appear to be abe to do this with consistent success, despite claiming they can.

    Thanks

All of those things are on the roadmap, at the moment I’m focused on making the core backup engine as robust and reliable as possible.

    Hello,

Any update on this? Maybe a rough idea when it might be implemented?

    Thanks ??

I have been working on an admin interface for managing the plugin. As part of this I have also added options for daily weekly, fortnightly and monthly.

I have looked into Dropbox, and It doesn’t look like it will be possible to do this due to the way files have to be uploaded to dropbox.

Amazon S3 is on the roadmap but no work has been started on this.

I have a development version that you can test if you like. Just email me at [email removed] if you are interested.

On some blogs I have an error on this one. If update frequency is set to daily, everything is o.k. But if I set it to anything else (weekly, fortnightly, monthly) it will select a “bad” year, e.g.

“The next backup will occur at 01:00 on January 1, 1970”

I have cheched the blog time settings and this seems all to be o.k. Is this bug known? How can I fix it? Can you provide a fix in the next update version?

Plus it would be nice to be able to set an admin defined backup date directly from within the plugin settings page!

Could you try de-activating and then re-activating the plugin and see if that resets your schedule.
