Option tree upgrade = white screen

    I just upgraded from option-tree 2.1.4 to 2.2.1
    The themes options under Appearance disappeared and my site went blank. (White screen of death) I use a SuperSkeleton theme which is older, but still very functional for me.
    Only recourse was to disable OptionTree by renaming it option-tree.old
    Now I have the old system back and looking normal.

    ow can I use the latest version without this happening? I’m pretty new at this so would like simple directions, please.
