    Sorry for replying late, i was away on vacations.

    I will check why it did not work.

    You can also use the update_usermeta endpoint to add these later.. please see Notes tab.

    Optional fields are not working during registrations, i added some of my own fields to optional fields in the user controller.As user is still in registration process, i cannot use update_user_meta also .Please help me to solve this issue.

    Hi,

    For custom fields, you should call the update_user_meta endpoint after user registration. The optional fields with registration are very limited and they are only which WordPress support by default.

    You need to set all you custom fields as meta_key and meta_value. Please see update_user_meta endpoint documentation how to do that.
