    Hello.

    Optional VAT field still being validated when empty after blurring out (on blur validation) or deleting the value entered by mistake (on input validation).

    It’s expected that the optional VAT field is not validated when it’s empty.

    Thank you for reaching out. I hope you’re doing well.

    I understand your concern. Please note that the field is not validated when it is left empty; validation only occurs if you enter a value or delete an existing one. Essentially, the system checks the value only if it has been modified. If the field remains untouched when the page loads, no validation will occur.

    This is a follow-up to your previous message. I’ve heard back from the developer, and he confirmed that it shouldn’t behave like that. They are working on the issue, and it will be addressed in the next version of the plugin.

    You are right, it shouldn’t be like that. We just released a new plugin v4.2.1. Could you please update and let me know if it’s ok now?
