Optionally remove data on plugin uninstall

I know it is possible to make a plugin remove its data using delete_option in a function hooked onto register_uninstall_hook, and WordPress will detect you are deleting data and warn the user at the time.

But is there any way to prompt the user whether they want the files and data deleted or just the files deleted and the information kept (in case they might reinstall it again later on) when they go to uninstall it?
