• My products have a variation as well as Yith product add ons. When I choose a variation, then choose an option, then choose a different variation, the add-on option is cleared.

For example, lets say I have a product with color variations (red, blue, green), with a yith add-on radio button to select an animal to print on the shirt (frog, mouse, cat). If I choose Green from the variations, then select an animal from the Yith options, everything is fine. But if I go back and select a different color variation, the animal option is cleared (the radio is unchecked), even though that option should apply to any variation.

This happens even when no conditionals are used in Yith, when the product add-on has no additional cost, and the base price of all the variations are the same. In reality I need to use conditionals, variable base prices, and additional costs per add-on but for the sake of debugging I rolled back to a basic example.

I have deactivated all of my other plugins one by one to test but it did not effect the result. I also tried on my own custom theme as well as a basic install of woocommerce with twentytwentytwo theme and the result was the same.

Can I force Yith add-ons to retain the selected options even when a new variation is selected?

    Hi there,
    Thanks for contacting us!
Unfortunately, if you’re using the add-ons on a variable product, then the selected options will be lost when you change the variation.
This is because the plugin only loads the add-ons for the current variation, and when you change it, the add-ons will be reloaded.

I hope this answer to your question, and let me know if you have other issues.
    Best regards.

    I’ve the same issue.
Have you a solution to prevent the add-ons reloading ?

    Thanks
