Options dont appear in the cart

We believe that on your website you might be using the Ajax add to cart method for adding the product to the cart. In some Ajax call, they are not collecting all the fields added in the add to cart form, they only pick the product ID and Quantity. This might be the reason why the extra product options are not showing on the cart page.

Could you please verify whether you are using Ajax add to cart method, if so please turn off the Ajax method for adding the product to the cart and verify from your side.

Hi, I have the same issue as above. I can’t find an Ajax add to cart method. Where do I find that? When I try to customise my theme there is no option as described above. The theme is the Shopping Store Lite from WordPress. I have added a text area using Extra Product Options but it doesnt appear in the cart.
Please help ??

@clairedennis20 We have checked the issue and it is due to the Ajax add to cart. The theme Shopping Store Lite is using the Ajax add to cart on the shop page. The theme is overriding the default shop page template. You can see the archive-product.php file in the theme. In this template, they are adding the Ajax add to cart button. We have checked the theme but couldn’t find any option for disabling the Ajax add to cart method.

We suggest you to contact the support of Shopping Store Lite inorder to check this further. We hope they will be able to help you.
