options > reading – 403 error

Hi I get a 403 error when I try to alter the options readig page & the following info:-

You don’t have permission to access /wordpress/wp-admin/options.php on this server.

I have changed the options-reading.php, options.php & wp-admin folder to give full permission to read/write execute (777)

Any ideas on what I try next?
