Options not saving

    I am attempting to change the “Text on Button” from View to Get App. I changed the text and hit Save. My options are not showing up on my site. I even put in an invalid Apple ID and saved. There is no change to the banner on my site. It is as if no changes have been saved. If there something I must do beside just save the option to have them take effect. Or is there something broken?

    Do you have any caching software or CDN installed that you need to flush to see the changes?

    I don’t have CDN installed. I flushed the caching software. I now see “Get APP” on Android devices, but Apple devices still say “View”. Why would apple device work differently?

    Are you looking at your site on a newer iPhone that has operating system greater than iOS 6? If so, than that is the native app banner provided by apple. This plugin will allow you to put in your App IDs and automatically generate the proper meta tags to utilize Apple’s App Banner as specified here. https://developer.apple.com/library/content/documentation/AppleApplications/Reference/SafariWebContent/PromotingAppswithAppBanners/PromotingAppswithAppBanners.html

    For older versions of iOS (prior to version 6.0) a jQuery alternative will pop up in similar fashion to the Apple one. Android devices are supported with links to the Google Play Store. Windows devices are supported with links to the MS App Store.

    So what you are saying is that your plugins’ option “Text On Button” only change the text for Android devices’ button, and Apple devices’ buttons will always say “View”.

    That is correct. This plugin only provides a jquery version of app banner for older iphones. I will be reworking the entire app from scratch using a new library for smart banners, but that wont be for a couple months.
