“or” switching to “and” – browser language addon

    Hi,

    I have set up Amazon affiliate banners on my homepage and recipe pages based on the language of visitors, using your plugin. For now, I have set up Italian, Spanish, and German. I have two issues though:

    1) When I set more languages for one ad, for instance, German (Germany) and German (Austria), I select the “OR” option but as soon as I save, it switches back to “AND”.

    2) Sometimes all banners are shown, regardless of the language of the browser. I have deactivated Simple Social Buttons and it seems to work again but I am not really sure that’s the problem as it happens white randomly and not always when the social buttons plugin is active.

    Thanks for reporting your issue.

    I was able to replicate the problem with the AND and OR operators. It appears with the free add-on, not when using the same condition from the Advanced Ads Pro options. However, we will take a look at this issue.

    Regarding the second issue, I guess that the problem could be related to caching since the browser language belongs to the visitor conditions. You can find more information about the relationship between caching and ads in this post.

    Does your issue appear when you disable your caching?

    Hi Joachim,

    thanks a lot for your really fast answer!

    I am using Litespeed cache on my blog, so I have now added the amazon cookies to the list of cookies that are excluded from caching. Let’s see if this solves the issue. I will let you know.

    Please, let me know if you find a solution to the first issue.
