Orbit Slider plung not working

  • Can’t seem to get this to work on my site. Using the Responsive template and trying the shortcode [orbit-slider] as well as tried this
    ‘<?php echo do_shortcode(‘[orbit-slider]’); ?>’ and still does not show.

    One of two things happen:
    either “[orbit-slider]” is written out on the page
    Or
    the php code is seen when the page source is viewed. so it seems that the code is not executing.

    any assistance is appreciated
