Hello, even though I deleted an order on the order page, sales still appear on the Reports page. I also checked and cleared all order-related tables in the database, but the report still appears. (Screenshot attached.)

When an order is deleted does woocommerce still keep it? Shouldn’t it be completely deleted from the database? How many tables is added to an order?

    Hi @thecreator01

Did you delete the order permanently, even from the trash? Can you navigate to WooCommerce > Status > Scheduled Actions and manually run all WooCommerce analytics-related actions?

If this makes no difference, follow the solution shared here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/woocommerce-analytics-show-totally-wrong-numbers-and-data-wont-reset/page/2#post-17080817

Additionally, head over to WooCommerce → Status → Tools, and do the following:

    • WooCommerce transients – Clear
    • Expired transients – Clear
    • Clear template cache – Clear
    • Capabilities – Reset Capabilities
    • Clear customer sessions -Clear
    • Product lookup tables – Regenerate
    • Regenerate the product attributes lookup table – Regenerate

Next, please clear your browser cache and then check again.

I hope this helps! Please let us know how it goes or if you need further assistance.

Hello, thank you for your response. @shameemreza

Yes, now the report has been reset. I ran the cleaning process for “Clean up order data from legacy tables”, but I have been seeing the “Clearing data…” message for half an hour. When will this be completed?

And is it necessary to perform these operations regularly? Doesn’t Woocommerce do this regularly?

    https://prnt.sc/IdP_jHAiOwfX

I also activated “Schedule expired transient files cleanup”, but I think Woocommerce cleans “Scheduled Actions” records and Logs regularly. Could it be useful to activate this option? So does this option increase CPU/RAM usage?

Or can I completely delete all “Scheduled Actions” records manually?

    Hi there @thecreator01

Thank you for reaching back, with further details on this.

This depends on the size of a database and how well it is maintained. By the way, are there many failed actions registered in the site’s System Status Report (SSR)?

For reference, see the resources linked below:

I trust that points you in the right direction, but if you have more questions, let us know.

    We’re happy to help.

    No there’s not.

    There are only 2 failed records in “Scheduled Actions”;

    action_scheduler/migration_hook
    woocommerce_admin/stored_state_setup_for_products/async/run_remote_notifications

Also, can I delete all records in Scheduled Actions at certain time intervals? Or are these records automatically cleared?

    Hi @thecreator01

can I delete all records in Scheduled Actions at certain time intervals? Or are these records automatically cleared?

WooCommerce does indeed automatically clear “Scheduled Actions” records, but this process only involves completed actions. Failed actions, like the ones you’ve mentioned, are not automatically cleared and would need to be manually deleted or run.

If you’re seeing a large number of failed actions, this could potentially indicate a larger issue with your site. However, in your case, with only two failed actions, it’s likely not a cause for concern. You can safely delete these records if you wish.

Additionally, a plugin like WP Crontrol can help you determine why those actions failed.

I hope this clarifies things for you. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
