    Hi,

    Before I start exploring I would like to check functionalities and if following scenario’s can be achieved with free or pro and possible add-on?.
    I’m a developer so a lead to the right hooks could be good as well.

    Consider 2 user types: manager & employee
    Possible case is for a Rental service

    • Each manager can be responsible for 0 or x employees
    • Employees can “prepare orders” but all orders have to be approved by a manager
    • A manager can change the order (product qty & address info) before approving or even up to 7 days before delivery.
    • A manager can be part of different departments, each department can have different employees
    • Depending on department a manager can only see employees of that department
    • A manager can switch between departments through a dropdown or popup screen.

    Hope the most is possible or achievable through hooks/code.

    Thank you for reaching out.

    It seems like almost all the features you are looking for are included in the plugin, with the exception of order approval (including the possibility for a parent account to modify subaccount orders before they are approved) which will be included in a new dedicated add-on expected to be released during the first quarter of 2024.

    Hi,

    Is this all available in Pro then or in the base plugin also?

    Is the ETA of the addon fixed or possible? As we would launch in the same period…or maybe we could help (beta) test it?

    As I understand it, different managers need to correspond to different departments and each department needs to have subaccounts (correct me if I am wrong).

    In this case I guess you would probably need the Pro version and the Supervisor Add-On too. This way you would be able to get the following result:

    — Supervisor (main parent account)

    —— Manager 1 (Department 1)

    ——— Subaccount A (under Department 1), Subaccount B (under Department 1).

    —— Manager 2 (Department 2)

    ——— Subaccount C (under Department 2), Subaccount D (under Department 2).

    While the Supervisor can switch to all its managers and subaccounts, a Manager can only switch to its direct subaccounts (e.g. “Manager 1” will not be able to switch to “Subaccount C”).

    You can create multiple supervisors and the above structure can be replicated for each supervisor.

    Please notice that (for now) Supervisors can be created only by the admin of the site. However, each Supervisor will be able to add managers and subaccounts as desired in frontend.
