Order comments when using Stripe Link

    Hi there, we’re experimenting with setting up Stripe Link on our WooCommerce site but it seems like there’s no spot for the customer to enter their order comments, which are very important on our site.

    Is Stripe Link compatible with WooCommerce’s order comments field?

    Just to clarify, are you asking if Stripe Link provides a specific field for customers to enter order comments during checkout? Please note that WooCommerce already includes an “Order Notes” field on the checkout page where customers can add comments. Are you looking for a way to ensure that this field works with Stripe Link, or is there another specific functionality you’re referring to?

    Hi @mahfuzurwp –

    We have WooCommerce’s default order notes field on our checkout page and it works fine when customers use traditional payment methods like PayPal, but if we enable Stripe Link and they pay with that, then they’re never presented with any way to enter their order notes.

    We’re not picky about the details but just need some way for customers to enter their order notes when paying with Stripe Link, either via WooCommerce’s order notes field or through the Stripe Link interface.

    Thank you for your reply.

    Please share a link to your site so I can check the Checkout page.

    Express payment methods do not use the default Checkout form.
    If you have any custom fields on the checkout form, they will be skipped when using Express Checkout methods like Link by Stripe.
