    Hey,

I hope someone can help, this is a problem that has been ongoing for a while and I’d love to get some help if possible!

I am getting multiple orders through my business website – however when I go to update my order status to ‘Completed’ it comes up with a the ‘Your site is having technical difficulties’ message. I then refresh the order list and the status has updated to be ‘completed’. It’s just really frustrating to see the technical difficulties error and getting an administration email.

Any ideas or help on this would be amazing. Thank you!

    Hi there,

This sounds like your server is caving under the load or there is a plugin creating a fatal error.

WooCommerce also to log any fatal errors. You can find these under WooCommerce > Status >> Logs (click on the tab). After clicking on the logs tab examine the dropdown on the right for any “fatal-errors” entry. If there is one, provide its contents here and we can take a look.

    Kind regards,

    Hi @scottaldridge

It looks like those errors are pointing to an issue with the theme being used on your site.

I would recommend checking for any updates for your theme or you will want to either contact the theme’s developer or update the templates following the instructions here:

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/fix-outdated-templates-woocommerce/

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
