Hi everybody, I have been trying to fix this issue for days and have searched all the forums. There is an issue on this site which has only one product, basically what appears to be an old version of the product priced at £24.99 (an old price) keeps appearing on the order confirmation screen and in the order confirmation emails, although the amount the customer is charged remains correct. It is to some degree intermittent although once it appears it then persists through several tests. I have tried clearing caches and checking in database tables for extra products hanging around but have had no luck. Has anyone experienced this problem before and if so how do I fix it?

    Thanks very much.

  • Did you clear product transients at:
Dashboard > WooCommerce > Status > Tools tab

Hi thanks for replying, yes tried that – cleared al transients and problem persists. Any other ideas?

Not much, but this next idea won’t take long. Load up Booster:
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-jetpack/
and run the “delete old slugs” module.

Hi loaded up Jetpack but “delete old slugs” is not in the list of available modules. However used a plugin “remove old slugs” https://wpfactory.com/item/remove-old-slugs-wordpress-plugin/
but the only slugs removed were posts not products

Does this do the same as the jetpack one? If not any idea how to get that jetpack module?

    Really appreciate your help

Its in the last section called: “Emails & Misc”, and the module is called “Old Slugs”, towards the bottom of the list of modules.

It claims to be able to “Remove old product slugs.”. (if indeed there are any!)

I don’t know if it does the same as the one you’ve tried.

Ok got it, was looking in wrong place. Sadly it says “No old slugs found.”

    Any other suggestions?

Well you could try the conflict test, though that may not be conclusive with an intermittent problem. Wait till its starts appearing. Deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce and switch to the Storefront theme. Do you still have the problem now? Reactivate one-by-one and test to try to identify if one particular piece of software is causing it.

Yep done that, persists with just Woocommerce activated and standard theme – concluded that it is some corrupt data somewhere so am in the process of rebuilding the site from scratch.

    Hey @marthast,

I’d like to revisit one of your replies earlier:

I have tried clearing caches and checking in database tables for extra products hanging around but have had no luck.

When clearing caches, where are you doing this? In a plugin? In your browser? Have you contacted your host to see if they can clear your server cache to see if that addresses the problem?

Let me know if you’ve tried the above and we can get back to brainstorming.
