Order Delivery Extension Issue

  • I can’t get the calendar dropdown to appear on the checkout page, despite the calendar option being set in the WooC Settings’ Checkout Options.

    I’m trying to set this up so that my client gives the customer a choice to have their order delivered Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. There is always a one day prep window, meaning, if the customer orders on a Monday, then they could choose Tuesday or Wednesday of that week to have their order delivered (or they can select from M-T-W in future weeks).

    I can’t set anything up though without seeing the Calendar function appear on the checkout page!

    BTW, the Shop Base page is intentionally not defined, and WooCommerce assisted with a customized solution to fit a tab-based sorting system on the site. I doubt that affects the situation here though.

    What calendar/delivery date extension are you using? This is an issue with a third-party extension and not WooCommerce core. You’ll need to contact the plugin authors of the calendar extension about this, as the forums here are for WooCommerce core issues only.

    I am trying to use the Order Delivery extension sold on WooCommerce’s website that I just purchased on behalf of my client.

    Ye, my client is currently using a 3rd party plugin to capture the delivery date. However, that plugin has started bypassing caching, which caused 503 errors. We’ve been advised to seek alternatives.

    I have a ticket open with WooCommerce about this, but it’s going on 24 hours without a reply.

    However, I did note the developer listed, Theme Squad, has zero support offered via their site. Then again, that site was not linked to WooCommerce’s website, where the extension was purchased.

    The ticket is being addressed (they acknowledged a surge in tickets creating a delayed response time).

    Lo-and-behold, it’s theme (Edge/Hudson) related.

    I’ve opened a ticket with Edge (theme creator).
