Hi,

A few weeks back I noticed that the order details of the last 10-15 orders was missing. Eventually I thought it was fixed, but now I noticed that for a part of the orders the order details are still missing, also from an order which did show them when I first noticed the issue. > See screenshot: https://ibb.co/RjmGzZw

In the WC Analytics tab you can even see 2 orders showing ‘0’ in the ‘Items sold’ column, but the order did have products, and you can even see the amount behind it. Weird thing is, for some orders where there is a number of orders showing in that column, the order details are also missing (for example #3411) > See screenshot: https://ibb.co/b6W5ZzH

I use the Booster plugin to create PDF invoices, and also there are no order details showing. Not sure if the problem already occurs right away when people order or if it happens later on. But in the order confirmation emails I receive I see the products that are being ordered.

I ran the WC database update already, but that didn’t help.

Howdy Tom!

We haven’t received other reports of this issue happening, so this kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
?
The best way to determine this is to:
- Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
- Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
- Repeat the action that is causing the problem
If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Ideally, you’d setup a staging site and try the conflict testing process there. If not, please at least make sure you have a full backup of your live site before testing.

Please also keep in mind that conflict testing may not make the information show up for existing orders. You would want to place a new order each time you test to see if the missing details show up in the new orders.

Hi Zach,

Thanks for getting back to me! I created a copy of the website and took all the steps you listed. The missing details didn’t show up unfortunately, but new orders do have order details. On the live website that is also the case for the most recent orders, so it’s hard to tell what is wrong. I guess it would be easier to find out when all orders would have missing order details, right?

I did have to roll back my website to an earlier backup, because Redis Cache messed something up with the translations on the webshop categories page… for now I’ll assume that was the cause of it.

Anyway, I’ll keep tracking what happens to future orders and if anything goes wrong.
