Order Item / Data switched positions?

    Hello, a while ago on the Order Details page, the Order Item and Order Data modules randomly switched positions. Even if I disable all plugins except Woocommerce and switch the theme to Twenty-Twenty-Two, purge cache…this issue does not get solved. Do you have any idea how I can fix this? Please let me know, thanks!

    Out of the box, there is no way to change the position of the order items and order details section without custom code or editing the core files.

    Since you’ve already performed the conflict test, I recommend trying to re-install WooCommerce in case the core files were changed. Please keep a full backup of your site, deactivate WooCommerce, delete the plugin and then re-install.

    Your site’s data won’t be removed but always keep a backup before starting the process.

    Hello, I deactivated all plugins again and switched to 2022 theme, then deleted WooCommerce, purged cache, and then re-installed. Same issue persists!? It’s very strange.

    In order to check your configuration and assist you further, could you please share the following:

    1. System Status: You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
    2. Fatal Error Log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if available).

    Hi @dividedsci,

    Thanks for sending over your system status and error logs.

    Nothing, in particular, stands out as a tool installed on your site which can be associated with that problem, and you’ve already cleared the cache and disabled plugins as well as switched the theme but there has been no change.

    You could make some changes to the database, but be sure to save a full backup of your site and database or much better do it on a staging site.

    Follow these steps if you feel confident or let an expert do it:

    1. Access the database with PhpMyAdmin
    2. Use this SQL Query (https://pastebin.com/GUbtGVp2)
    3. Select the meta-box-order_shop_order id (https://i.imgur.com/EcOapeu.png)
    4. Change order and place woocommerce-order-data before woocommerce-order-items (https://i.imgur.com/Bpd0PtB.png – https://i.imgur.com/EUO780E.png)
    5. Save changes

    When accessing a database there’s always a risk of causing more trouble so you have to be really sure of what you are doing. I’d definitely recommend consulting a database expert at https://www.codeable.io/partners/woocommerce/ that can assist you with this task.
