    Hello.

I was looking for a solution to the forum and the admin panel and the database.

I added many elements to the menu. The elements are displayed in good order on the home page and on the menu. The problem is on the subpage sections – elements are not in good order.

    See:

    https://pizzaslonce.pl/nowasol/menu/pizze/

Is the order may be affected by other factors than the order of the admin panel?

    Thanks for the answer,
    sorry for language errors.

    Ok, I found!
? I changed the date of publication – newer items are higher in the list.

    Hi,

Just to explain, the food menu section page you mention is an archive page. I’m not sure if Jetpack plugin keeps the ordering set in the WordPress admin also for these type of pages, but from your writing I feel it doesn’t.

So, for now, the only way around it is to set the food menu item dates to reorder them on archive pages.

Or, you can use a “Menu” page template and set a food_menu_section custom field. That page should be sorted according to WordPress admin food menu order. See https://webmandesign.eu/manual/auberge/#custom-fields and https://webmandesign.eu/manual/auberge/#pages

I will also have a look at the issue and see what I can do about order on food menu archive pages from the theme perspective.

    Regards,

    Oliver
