All the sudden the locks on the order list are not showing. I have 6 people that need to open orders every morning and we need to know if an order is already open by someone. Many times it doesn’t even give the notice when you open the order that it is being “edited by someone else” with the option to “take over”. Any ideas as to why this is not working?

  • Hi @disciplepress!

    Thank you for reaching out.

There are various possible reasons for that to happen.

As a first step, let’s discard a conflict between WooCommerce and your theme or another plugin you have; an outdated code or script could be interfering.

You can perform a conflict test by temporarily switching your theme back to Storefront, disabling all plugins except WooCommerce, and then check your orders list in the backend again and check if the issue persists.

If that solves it, reactivate the theme first and check again. Then, reactivate your other plugins, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict.

You can find more about how to do a conflict test here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/.

Let us know how that goes for you!

    Hi there,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.

    Cheers!
